What is a seo link?

It is just a link, but you have to make these links work for your website.

A link can be created by submitted your website to a directory, you swap links with another webmaster, you submit articles, you run an affiliate program, you have left your web address in forum discussions or other webmasters have just linked to you.

You even have all the internal links within your very own website.

Links are everywhere, just be sure to make them seo links, this will help push your website up the search engines.

An Internal SEO Link

This is the best place to start. Getting this right can make all the difference.

You link from your home page to 2nd tier pages.

You link from 2nd tier pages to 3rd tier pages.

Nearly every website you come across has a navigational bar like the one on the left.

Each link links to a 2nd tier web page, within the 2nd tier web pages I have text links that link to 3rd tier web pages.

This is a 3rd tier web page.

Can you see that I am using keywords in all my text links, I am also not using fancy graphics or pictures as my link buttons. Just good old text.

In the seo keywords section I explained that every web page within your website should be based on a profitible long tail keyword.

The two text links in the previous paragraph are linking to other pages in this site, but the text links include the keywords that those web pages are aimed at.

The end results is your website is completely linked in many ways with all links including the seo keywords for each individual page. The seo spiders love it.

Incoming SEO link’s and their Value

All incoming links will help towards the importance of your website and in return be ranked higher in search engines.

The seo spider though will give some incoming links better value than others. Some links are giving more value than others.

People only want to link to other useful websites, so by them linking to you is telling the search engines that they like your website and therefore must be good.

Incoming links from other website home pages would mean more than a 2nd tier web page.

A link from a 2nd tier web page would mean more than a link from a 3rd tier web page and so on.

A good way to measure the impotance of one of your web pages or a possible link resource is with Googles page rank. The higher the page rank a website has the more value an incoming link would have.

A link from a website that’s theme is related to your websites theme would be giving more value than a link from an unrelated website.

A link from another websites web page that has less out going links would give you more value than a link from a web page that had loads of out going links.

If a seo link from another web page had your domain name or keyword within the link, this would give the link more value than a link that said for example “click here”.

A seo link from a web page that’s content was related to your website theme would mean more than a link from a web page that’s content was unrelated.

You can mix all the above up and you get all sorts of values for all sorts of links. We can not always have the perfect link but getting as close to the above the better.

I would always start with some good directories and niche directories, then serioulsy spend some time looking for some related websites to exchange links from.

Incoming SEO Link from Written Articles

An incoming link from an article that you have written and submitted can not only be a very valued incoming link, but also become a number of incoming valued links.

You write an article following the seo copy writing section which is keyword rich and submit it to a high page ranked article submission website.

This incoming link that is generated is valued very high. Then people that read it can copy this article and use it within their websites content as long as they link to you.

These can generate large amounts of high valued incoming links.

As you can see from the above information that it is vital a have a good linking program in place and you should spend a small amount of time building links whenever possible.
