Directory SEO services is something we all consider at some point.
We start out creating a website and read that you need to build hundreds of incoming links to rank high in search engines.
Although this maybe true in some circumstances, you should be easily attracting 20 to 40 visitors a day with as little as 20 incoming links, if you seo web designed your site correctly.
People decide to use directory seo services because they believe it is quick, easy and simple. Someone or piece of software automatically submits your website to hundreds of directories for a small fee.
I would never use directory seo services for quite a few reasons:-
- The service clearly states it only submits your website, this by no means guarantees you inclusion to these directory websites.
- You have no idea how many they have submitted your website too.
- You have no idea which directories they have submitted too, which could cause problems if you accidently submit twice and get removed.
- It cost’s money. If you are starting out online then you can easily do directory submissions yourself. There is no need to go splashing out left right and centre when you first start out.
- 1000 incoming links could make no difference to your website gaining traffic if it has no on-page SEO done.
When submitting your website to directories be sure you are sticking to the guidelines to insure your website will be included and not rejected.
You will also get confirmation e-mails that you have been submitted and then added to their directories.
It can take from 1 day up to months for a directory to add your website and then up to another 6 weeks for the seo spiders to index it. By doing a few links every day or week will keep a constant flow of incoming links being built up.
If you had a huge list of directories that you could work from then you could easily submit your site to over 25 directories sites in an hour. That’s based on how many I can roughly do and I only type with two fingers.
By doing 5 directory submissions every time you’re online will only take 15 minutes. This way as the months pass eventually your link popularity will be increase on a day to day basis.
